The mission of the Kingwood Park Band is to inspire students to achieve high standards in performance and provide an opportunity for the development and cultivation of life skills and a work ethic. Although competition is an inherent part of the mission, it is only seen as a means to an end while we seek to instill in our members a strong sense of personal achievement, growth, confidence, strong work ethic, responsibility, perseverance, and dedication to achieve a team goal.
